Blueberry Buttermilk Tart
With the summer days quickly winding down (which I'm totally in denial of), the kinds of recipes I'll soon be baking will have more cinnamon and apples, and less fresh berries. Some of my fondest summer memories include barbecues with the family. Now that everyone's grown up and spending more time with families of their own, I cherish sit-down dinners with the family now more than ever. Today I made this blueberry buttermilk tart with an almond shortbread crust adapted from this recipe from Martha Stewart as a light, refreshing and semi-healthy (can I get away with that?) dessert.
