Lately, I am loving baseball. For a girl living just a hop, jump and skip away from Boston all my life, I have never been to a Red Sox game before... or any baseball game for that matter. It would put me to sleep whenever it was on TV. So I gave it a try and figured that it would be a good end of the summer treat to experience my first Red Sox game with a good friend who loves the Sox more than life, and he could teach me all about it.
Not sure how I feel about this
We won!! Definitely a bit of relief after the rough season we've been having lately.
It's true when people say that you will never forget your first baseball game. It was a perfect day, and I know more about the game and some history of the team thanks to my friend. The smells, sounds and views seemed so cliche (in the best way) like it was all straight out of a movie. The vibe was incredible. It's always a good feeling to celebrate something that an entire city can relate to. :)
