This past weekend, a few of my closest friends and I participated in the happiest 5k on the planet. The COLOR RUN! After months and months of anticipation, we were finally able to get a little silly with our fellow 11,000 runners.

The magical rainbow cloud during the finish festival color throw. I recently learned that it is inspired by the Indian Festival of Holi (Indian Festival of Color.. google it, amazing!) It felt surreal standing beneath the color cloud, but we all knew we were taking part in something really special.
It was such an incredible race and I am grateful to have experienced it with my friends. I look forward to this race again next year, watch out everyone- team "Your Pace or Mine?" will be back!
